Parents and teachers are often on the front lines when harassment and discrimination around gender and orientation occur. YES Institute regularly speaks to groups of faculty and parents who have questions and concerns about how to respond appropriately. Giving people the space to authentically express their points of view is the first step toward unifying school communities and finding win/win solutions.
