At the invitation of Habsi Kaba, MSW with the Crisis Intervention Team of Miami-Dade Police Department,YES went to the 11th Judicial Circuit Mental Health Project to train Miami-Dade Police Officers. She shared, "Initially, there was a definite discomfort level with the subject matter, snickers and jokes were exchanged around the first hour. By the second hour, the speaker elicited discussion on the real questions and fears, and the presentation was ultimately well received."
