Research shows that the more nurses have an opportunity to interact with members of minority groups, the less discomfort they feel. Workshops offered by the YES Institute provide effective clinical techniques and resources, as well as teaching a model for generating dialogue that begins to dissolve fears and produce actions to protect all youth.
RNs, LPNs, and ARNPs can receive continuing education units by participating in our CEU Workshops:
• Essentials of Sexual Orientation (3.5 units)
• The Gender Continuum (7 units)
• Deciphering the Matrix (3.5 units)
• Communication Solutions™ (12 credits)
• Leadership in Action (7 credits)
