We ask leaders of faith to begin working for a safe world by signing an Affirming Stand. Clergy who are willing to face fears associated with this topic for the sake of young people display great leadership and vision.

"As a person in ministry, I am committed to the spiritual support and nurturing of all children. I am responsible for including, supporting, healing and valuing each child of God.

"Therefore, I declare myself to be available for all youth and their families, agreeing to minister to the spiritual needs of all people, including gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth. Regardless of distinctions in theology and practice, there can be common ground for all people within the breadth of God's love."

The congregations and ministers listed here have signed the YES Affirming Stand, articulating their commitment to being resources for all youth and families.

Take action today! If you are a person in ministry, we invite you to join our interfaith coalition of ministers who are creating new possibilites for families and adult within their respective faith traditions. Your records remain private.
