The average school day is seven hours long. During those seven hours, students are totally immersed in their school environment. Nationwide, concerns over school violence and bullying are spurring educators to search for solutions. The challenge for faculty is creating a school environment that is conducive to learning, one that is as safe as it is educational.
YES Institute began out of concern for youth suicide, but our research has led us to the link between gender, orientation, and school violence.
