Our in-house resource for parent counseling is Eva Leivas-Andino, YES Institute Program Manager and Hispanic Outreach Coordinator. Eva is a Cuban-American mother who has a gay son.

We are in the process of developing an online educational presentation especially for parents. This totally confidential course will be available 24 hours a day. If you would like to be notified once this course is ready for testing, click here.

YES Institute speakers are available for “Dialogue with Parents” events. If you are willing to host an event, please contact YES Institute.

Elsa and Ramon Donnell generously opened their home to YES Institute as part of our Hispanic Initiative. They invited their friends to participate in a conversation that many had viewed as negative and fearful. The evening provided education on gender and orientation, and participants eagerly asked questions and expressed their concerns.  Parents came from Dade and Broward County to participate in the third YES Institute "Dialogue with Parents" at our office. We are now coordinating individual events at family homes.  Read More.
